Pre-PCT Video

The PCT Hiker Trash of 2026 will have a Pre-PCT video.

This will be a video of PCT hikers before they start the trail.
This will include your goals, concerns, thoughts, and dreams you hope to fulfill on your upcoming 2026 PCT adventure.

The 2026 Pre-PCT video can’t be made without YOU.

If you would like to be part of this project and be included in this video, here is what to do.

Shoot a 60-90 second video of your honest thoughts on starting the Pacific Crest Trail.

Be real, be honest.
Tell it like it is.
If you have a fear, say it.
If you doubt yourself, say it.
If you’re so excited, you could pee your pants.
Say it.

This is your adventure and chance to document your thoughts before you hit the trail.

Your word will inspire others, and make you feel proud when you come off the trail and see how much you’ve grown.

In addition, this video will be accessible in the PCT 2026 Hiker Trash Anthology… the not-a-yearbook.
